Starting a business is hard. Making your visions and dreams come to life is hard. Hours and hours of creating the perfect background to take pictures of your inventory is hard. Sitting by yourself at night long after your husband and kids have gone to bed to make new items is hard. Losing friends is hard. Losing sleep is hard.
But I just keep telling myself it WILL BE WORTH IT! I want to show my kids and my family that it takes hard work, dedication, perseverance, and not quitting. I just need to find “my people” I know there is more people out there like me.
The girl that would rather sit inside and read on a Friday night then go next door to the block party that is happening.
The girl that has a customer service job and is around people all day that are not nice, and when she gets home she just wants to make a coffee, curl up on the couch with a blanket, and read until she can’t keep her eyes open.
The girl that doesn’t listen to “country music” and listens to metal and rock music, drinks coffee not because of the caffeine anymore but because it is vital for life, her wardrobe consists of black, black, and more black, oh and Vans.
The girl that has a darker sense of humor that a lot of people balk at when she tries to tell a joke.
The girl that didn’t have a lot of friends growing up but that’s okay! I will always say I would rather have a couple friends I can count on at any time than a bunch of friends.
I am in my hustle era. I will NOT be apologetic for it either. I have always tried to please everyone else my entire life and put myself last. Not anymore.
So I took the chance. I did what make ME happy. I spent countless hours designing and thinking of designs for cases, bookmarks, keychains, charm plug covers, and have so many more ideas I want to bring to life.
I guess what I’m trying to say is don’t give up on yourself. If it makes you happy and isn’t hurting anyone. Then do it. It will pay off in the end. Be that little girl from small town Texas that doesn’t fit the norm. And blow that bitch out of the water. I love all of y’all and thank you for supporting me.
